A 15-year-old boy identified as Taiye Majekodunmi has reportedly been arrested in Lagos after he was allegedly found with a g¥n hidden inside bread.
In a video showing his interrogation, the teenager said he lives around Mushin Market and confirmed that the item found in his possession was a g¥n.
When asked where he got it from, Taiye said, “Samuel gave it to me.”
He explained that Samuel is his friend and that they have not known each other for long. According to him, he does not know what his friend does for a living, saying, “I just see him everyday.”
Taiye further claimed that Samuel approached him after he returned from school and asked him to deliver the bread to Oshodi.
He said he was told that someone would meet him at Terminal 1 to collect the bread.
“Now today he saw me when I got back from school and asked me to help him to something to Oshodi and that someone will come and meet me at terminal 1 to collect the bread from me sir,” he said.
When asked whether Samuel was his brother, the teenager replied, “No, he’s my friend.”
He also confirmed his age when asked, saying, “I’m 15 years.”
