Singer Kcee has responded following the allegation by DeDe Pammy Udubunchi that he used a song he arranged with his late brother, Afamefuna Aneke, without informing him.
Pammy had earlier called on Kcee to do the right thing, alleging that the song was one he and his late brother, popularly known as Pammy UduBunch, arranged.
Following the release of his new song and video titled Celebration, Kcee shared a message explaining the inspiration behind the project.
“This sound has a story, and today we celebrate it!
“20 years ago, a young legend, Afamefuna Aneke (Pammy UduBunch), created a sound that shaped our culture. Today, that same sound lives on, bigger and louder.
“This year, December 28th, 2026 we joined the family to celebrate this young Legend and everything he has created before leaving us.
“Keeping the soul, adding the sauce, and bringing it back to the world stage.
“This is what CELEBRATION is about, honoring where we came from while celebrating how far we’ve come.”
Kcee also thanked his team and other creatives who worked on the project, adding that the audio and video were available on all platforms.
The post comes shortly after Pammy publicly raised concerns over Kcee’s use of the song, making the development a fresh point of discussion among music fans.
