2027 : ADC Presidential Candidate, Kachikwu Vows To Rebuild Nigeria After Securing ADC Ticket Against Atiku

Dumebi Kachikwu has pledged to rebuild Nigeria and create a more inclusive nation after accepting his nomination as the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 election.

Kachikwu made the declaration while addressing party members and supporters following his emergence as the ADC flagbearer, promising to chart what he described as a new course for the country.

“I thank all our party faithfuls, including our National Chairman Alhaji Bashir. Together we can chart a new course for our nation,” he said.

The ADC candidate argued that Nigeria’s current political and governance structure required fundamental reforms, insisting that the country must move away from outdated systems inherited from the colonial era.

“We will build Nigeria from the ground up and do away with faulty and archaic colonial foundation that now characterizes our current existence,” Kachikwu stated.

He also called for the creation of a more inclusive society that guarantees equal opportunities and rights for all Nigerians regardless of ethnicity, religion, or background.

“We must constitute a new nation that is not only inclusive but guarantees equal rights and expressions for all, irrespective of tribe, tongue and religion,” he added.

Kachikwu further urged Nigerians to support the ADC’s vision ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the party was committed to offering an alternative political direction for the country.
