“50 Million Ai-Generated Voters Will Compete With Humans”- Isaac Fayose Raises Alarm Over 2027 Elections

Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has raised concerns over the possible use of artificial intelligence (AI) to manipulate the outcome of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.

Fayose alleged that more than 50 million AI-generated voters could compete with genuine voters during the elections, expressing fears that the votes cast by Nigerians might not accurately reflect the final results.

According to him, Nigerians could go through the voting process and exercise their civic rights, only for the announced results to differ from the actual votes recorded at the polling units.

He made the allegation while recounting his experience with the recent Ekiti State election, using the experience to raise questions about the credibility and transparency of future elections.

The social commentator also hinted at a possible protest against the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), suggesting that a demonstration over the electoral concerns could soon take place.

His comments have raised questions about the role of artificial intelligence and emerging technology in Nigeria’s electoral process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
