Nigerian rapper Mr Real has sparked reactions online after sharing his opinion on men who choose not to have children.
The singer suggested that while it is understandable for a woman to decide against having children, he finds it difficult to accept the same decision from a man.
“It’s understandable for a woman to say she doesn’t want kids, but a man who doesn’t want kids is g+y,” he said.
His comment has stirred debate over personal choices, parenthood and societal expectations surrounding men and women.
While some people may share his view that having children is an important part of a man’s life, others may argue that the decision to become a parent should be a personal choice, regardless of gender.
The remark has once again brought attention to differing opinions about family planning and the pressure society places on men and women to have children.
