…Former ALGON Chairman, Ex-Amosun Aide Assumes New Advisory Role

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appointed the Director-General of Ogun Team Triple A (O.T.T), Dr. Mojeed Oladele Rahman Ekelojumati, as Senior Consultant to the Governor.
The appointment took effect on Friday, July 3, 2026, according to an official letter signed by the governor.
In the appointment letter, Abiodun congratulated Ekelojumati on what he described as a well-deserved appointment and wished him a successful tenure.
The letter read in part, “I am delighted to inform you of your appointment as Senior Consultant to the Governor. The appointment takes effect from Friday, 3rd July, 2026.
“The remuneration and benefits attached to this position are as stated in the extant Remuneration Package for Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders.”
Until his appointment, Ekelojumati served as the Director-General of Ogun Team Triple A, one of the leading political support groups within the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State.
He is a close political associate of APC chieftain, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade. Both politicians worked together during the 2018 political realignment that saw members of the Allied People’s Movement later return to the APC.
Ekelojumati has held several public offices. He served as the first Chief of Staff of Kosofe Local Government Area in Lagos State between 2008 and 2011.
He was appointed Consultant to former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, in 2013 and later became Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, in 2015.
He also served as a Commissioner in the Ogun State Civil Service Commission between 2017 and 2019.
Before his latest appointment, Ekelojumati was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Eleke Projects and Development Limited, a Lagos-based firm.
A native of Oke Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Ekelojumati holds a doctorate degree in Public Policy with specialisation in rural capital development, poverty reduction and financial inclusion.
