Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has weighed in on the renewed tension between star actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
In a recent interview, the respected Yoruba movie icon expressed disappointment over the ongoing rift, urging both women to acknowledge the blessings in their lives and focus on gratitude rather than conflict.
According to him, the actresses are too blessed to be engaging in a public feud.

“If they have sense, they should understand that God has favoured them and they should be joyful,” Ogogo said, noting that both actresses have enjoyed immense success in their careers.

Speaking further, Ogogo explained why he refuses to interfere in disputes involving women. He stated that while men often resolve issues by talking things out, disagreements among women tend to escalate and become more complicated.

“When men have issues, they talk them through and move on, but when it’s between women, it becomes more complicated than war—worse than Hitler’s war,” he remarked. “Any man who gets involved is not acting wisely.”
Ogogo questioned the cause of the ongoing feud, emphasising that both Akindele and Abraham have been greatly blessed and have no reason to engage in rivalry.
“Very soon, they will come back to their senses. It is not even my business,” he added.
The actor concluded by describing both actresses as his “children,” insisting that while he cares for them, he will keep his distance from any unnecessary drama.
