Leading Nigerian movie actress, Mary Njoku, has questioned the concept of gentle parenting.
According to the movie actress and producer, she doesn’t believe in the ideology.
In a post on her Instagram page, Njoku mentioned that parents shouldn’t negotiate with kids.

Mary said even her kids know that it won’t last and have sent two TV’s to their early graves.

“Please, who started this gentle parenting?
Who gathered all of us and said we should now begin to negotiate with tiny humans whose brains are still under construction?
Because explain to me why I am calmly saying, ‘Sweetheart, the glass centre table is not a stool. Like I’m delivering a TED Talk in a foreign language inside Balogun Market.
Even my kids know this won’t last.
