“After All He Did For You”- Ossai Success Slams Davido Over Absence At Soso Soberekon’s Wedding

Former media aide Ossai Ovie Success has criticised Nigerian music superstar Davido over his absence from music executive Soso Soberekon’s wedding ceremony.

The wedding, which took place on Saturday, July 25, in Warri, Delta State, saw Soso Soberekon exchange vows with his partner, Princess Ebiere, in a lavish event attended by several celebrities and notable personalities.

Despite the star-studded gathering, Davido’s absence attracted attention, especially because of his long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Soso, who has supported the singer’s career over the years.

Reacting to the development, Ossai described Davido’s decision not to attend the ceremony as disappointing, accusing the singer of failing to show appreciation for someone who has played a significant role in his journey.

According to him, Soso Soberekon contributed greatly to Davido’s growth by helping to connect him with international opportunities and promoting his brand within Nigeria.

Ossai stressed that loyalty should be mutual and believed the wedding provided Davido with an opportunity to publicly support someone who had supported him in the past. He added that missing the occasion was a major disappointment and likened it to disregarding Soso’s efforts and loyalty.

His words…

“Davido is ungrateful to Soso. I am disappointed in Davido and Chioma for not attending Soso’s wedding

The fact is, Soso Soberekon has done so much for Davido in the last few years.

Soso brought Davido to the international community and even promoted him locally.

Loyalty goes both ways.

And this was the moment to show it.

One of the most paramount moments in any man’s life is his wedding.

To miss that day after everything Soso has done feels like a slap in the face.

I expected better

I expected gratitude

I expected presence

Soso showed up for Davido; Davido didn’t show up for Soso.

That’s not loyalty.

That’s not gratitude.

Weddings are once in a lifetime.

You either show up for your people, or you don’t.

And on this one, he didn’t.

It’s not about the money, the fame, or the busy schedule.

It’s about honouring the people who honoured you when nobody was watching.
