A Nigerian lady has shared her frustration after strict school rules and the lack of employment opportunities left her struggling to find work.
The young woman lamented that her school enforced a strict “no lap coat, no entry” policy, yet despite following the rules, she and many others still could not secure jobs after graduation.
In her words, she said:
“All the ‘no lap coat, no entry’ in school, this is the end of it. We still didn’t end up securing any job. No employment anywhere.”
She revealed that the lap coat she used in school is now being repurposed for her side hustle, a roadside online betting business.
“If you don’t have a lap coat, don’t enter my lab. This is me using the lap coat for my Baba Ijebu business,” she added.
Her story reflects the wider frustration among Nigerian youths who face strict educational requirements but still struggle to gain meaningful employment after graduation.
