In a move aimed at improving the welfare and mobility of judicial officers, the Anambra State Government has presented brand-new Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to ten judges, ensuring they can conveniently commute to their offices and discharge their duties efficiently.
The gesture underscores Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary and enhancing the administration of justice in the state.
Representing Governor Soludo at the presentation ceremony held at the Light House in Awka on Monday, the Secretary to the State Government, Chiamaka Nnake, said the provision of the vehicles reflects the administration’s determination to create a conducive working environment for judicial officers.
Nnake noted that adequate logistical support is critical to enabling judges to effectively carry out their constitutional responsibilities and ensure the timely administration of justice.

She reaffirmed that the Soludo administration’s Solution Agenda places priority on strengthening all arms of government to enhance service delivery to the people of Anambra State. She stressed that the government would continue to support the judiciary in promoting fairness, the rule of law, and equitable access to justice across the state.
The state government added that the initiative formed part of its broader vision of building a prosperous, secure and liveable smart megacity through sustained investments in infrastructure, human capital development and institutional reforms.
It said that strengthening key institutions, including the judiciary, remains central to the administration’s efforts to deliver good governance and sustainable development in Anambra State.
