In a fresh twist to one of 2026’s most talked-about celebrity marriages, UK-based Nigerian doctor @OurFavOnlineDoc has publicly thrown his support behind former Big Brother Naija housemate Angel Smith amid her explosive marital crisis with wife Tumininu.
The drama erupted barely two weeks after Angel and Tumininu tied the knot in a lavish, private all-black ceremony in the United States in late March 2026.
The couple had gone public with their relationship last year and reportedly held a civil wedding earlier, but the high-profile event, complete with expensive rings and Nigerian flair, made headlines as a celebration of love.

Tumininu, now referred to as Angel’s estranged wife, broke her silence on social media, accusing Angel of infidelity. She claimed Angel slept with another woman she met online and alleged she had spent over $100,000 on her partner since they got together — including roughly $50,000 on Angel’s birthday alone. “After everything I’ve done… she still went ahead to cheat,” Tumininu posted, adding that Angel was currently at the other woman’s place.
In response, the doctor fired back sharply on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Just 100k dollars and she’s crying. How much is 100k dollars that you are now crying about small cheating? Sources close to the couple say the marriage, once hailed as a bold love story, has crumbled faster than expected, with both sides now trading indirect jabs.
