Anthropic said that it will begin restoring access to its advanced AI models, Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, after the US Department of Commerce lifted export controls.
“We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5. We’ll begin restoring access tomorrow,” the company said in a post on X, thanking users for their patience during the disruption.
This means users can soon begin using the models that the US government previously restricted on June 12 over national security concerns. Anthropic had then suspended these models.
