The Supreme Court of Nigeria has announced the commencement of online applications for the appointment of Notaries Public across the country.
The approval was granted on September 29, 2025, by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice K.M.O. Kekere-Ekun, GCON. Interested legal practitioners are invited to submit their applications via the official portal at https://notary.gov.ng.
The Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir E. Akanbi, Esq., has called on the Nigeria Bar Association to ensure that this notification receives wide publicity across its media platforms.
This move is part of the judiciary’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility and streamline the process for the appointment of Notaries Public in Nigeria.
