Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake or Mr Money, has expanded his impressive luxury collection with the addition of a brand-new Maybach.
The singer’s latest acquisition was revealed on Monday, July 20, 2026, by luxury automobile dealership Polanco Exotic Cars through a post shared on Instagram. The car dealer celebrated the artiste while thanking him for choosing their brand to provide him with a premium luxury experience.
The arrival of the high-end vehicle comes shortly after First Lady Remi Tinubu’s recent remarks urging Nigerian entertainers to channel more of their wealth into supporting society.
While speaking about the impact of celebrities, she referenced Senegalese-American music icon Akon as an example of an artiste who has used his platform and resources for philanthropic efforts. She encouraged top Nigerian musicians, including Asake, Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid, to establish foundations and contribute to helping people in need.
“I want to appeal to our young ones in the entertainment industry. I have mentioned it before, and I will use Akon, a music icon who does a lot of great charity work. They make the Burna Boys of this world, the Asakes, Davido, all of them, we want to see you with one foundation or the other, helping the poor with your money,” she said.
She acknowledged that owning luxury items is part of the success many entertainers enjoy but stressed the importance of giving back to the community.
“Good cars are good, a Maybach is good, a Rolls-Royce is good, but still, you can help the people,” she added.
