She has two Grammy nominations: Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “212” with Lazy Jay and Best New Artist.

Azealia Amanda Banks was born on 31st May 1991. Her place of birth is New York City, the United States of America. Amanda was born in a family of three, and her siblings are older than her. Amanda grew up in Harlem. When their father died of pancreatic cancer, Amanda was only two years.
Subsequently, her mother changed and started harassing her in words and combat. That made Amanda flee to her elder sister. By then, Banks was fourteen years of age. Azealia did not complete high school.

It was the best single from her album, 1991. The debut was a success on the charts in different regions, ranking top twenty in three main countries, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Ireland.
Banks became a co-worker of Paul Epworth, who was a British producer in a debut studio album. She was prepared to appear on Shady Love from an American-based band known as Scissor Sisters in their fourth studio album called Magic Hour. A music video relating to Magic Hour was released in January 2012.
