Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, and his wife, celebrity fashion entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of Luminee Couture, have welcomed a baby boy, whom they have named King Kagar Omiyinka.
The actor announced the arrival of the newborn on Monday, 15 June, via his Instagram page, where he shared a series of maternity photographs featuring himself and his wife.
The announcement was accompanied by a heartfelt message of gratitude to God for the safe delivery of their son.
Expressing joy over the development, Baba Ijesha said the birth of his son was a reflection of God’s faithfulness and mercy.
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell,”the actor wrote.
He added: “We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy. God gave me more than I prayed for.”
The actor also paid tribute to his wife, praising her strength, resilience and unwavering support throughout the journey to motherhood.
“My ever beautiful wife, strong Jagaban, Abikese de mi owo, ANJY LUMINEE COUTURE LTD, who became the mother of my son, King Kagar Omiyinka,”he stated.
The announcement sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues and well-wishers across social media platforms, with many celebrating the couple on the arrival of their child.
