The Ballon d’Or rankings for August 2026 have been published by Score 90.
According to the rankings, Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappé is currently at the forefront of the competition for the award.

This can be attributed to Mbappé’s remarkable performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, where he netted 10 goals and provided four assists, leading France to a fourth-place finish.

Also, he became the first player to secure the Golden Boot awards in LaLiga, the Champions League, and the World Cup in the same calendar year.

Ranked second is Barcelona’s young talent, Lamine Yamal, who played a pivotal role in helping Barcelona secure both LaLiga and the Supercopa de España, while also contributing to Spain’s World Cup campaign.
