Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, better known as RMD, has lamented his new age.
The actor, who turned 65 on Monday, addressed those who say age isn’t just a number on his Instagram page. Countering them, he said being 65 isn’t beans.
“They say age is just a number.
True.
But 65?
No be beans”.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday, July 6th, that RMD has turned 65. To celebrate his birthday, he shared dapper photos of himself on Instagram, revealing that ageing has its privileges, as he is now comfortable in his own skin.
In another post, he reflected on his journey, noting how it has been 65 years of purpose, presence and grace. While expressing gratitude, he said he has lived long enough to know that life owes us nothing.
On his birthday last year, Shaffy Bello recalled fantasising about him while living in the States. She said she hoped on sharing the screen with him, and the Universe gave her more than her fantasy could contain. She recalled how RMD and his wife would visit her in the States while his wife was still childbearing and building.
A year ago, the veteran came under fire over his behaviour toward an overzealous fan who was taking a video of him. The veteran, amid criticism, reposted the video on his page, stating that the video had a good sound for TikTok videos.
Similarly, he, had stirred the internet with his birthday message to colleague Omoni Oboli. He shared a steamy photo of himself and the married actress from a movie scene as he expressed eagerness to work with her again.
His post wasn’t surprising, as he had professed love for comedian Ali Baba’s wife on her birthday. He called her his dearest wife and expressed how much he loved her.
In other news, Iyabo Ojo had stirred reactions with her s3xual admission for RMD. In an interview, she admitted to having s3xual feelings for the veteran actor and expressed hope at playing a love scene with him someday. The mother of two went on to list her celebrity crushes.
