The man seen in a viral video carrying a suspected underage girl has broken his silence, insisting that the clip was staged for social media content and did not depict a real relationship.
In a new video, he claimed the teenage girl, identified as Bisola, is not his wife but his neighbour’s daughter. According to him, her mother was always present whenever they created the videos.
“Nigerians, here is Bisola’s mum confirming that we were only creating content. She is always with us whenever we make these videos.”
The girl’s mother also appealed to Nigerians, saying the videos were produced solely for entertainment and did not reflect reality.
“I’m only creating reality content. This girl is not my wife; she is my neighbour’s daughter. I have not done anything with her. Nigerians, please forgive me, it was just content.”
The explanation comes after the earlier video sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the nature of the content and calling for authorities to investigate.
