Nigerian activist Comrade I.G. Wala (Ibrahim Garba Wala) has called on the National Assembly to invoke its constitutional powers and compel President Bola Tinubu to leave office, alleging that the current administration has failed to address Nigeria’s growing security challenges.
In a video message delivered in English and Hausa, Wala argued that lawmakers have a constitutional responsibility to act in the interest of Nigerians rather than protect political office holders. He claimed that if the National Assembly refuses to take action, citizens should direct their demands to their elected representatives, whom he described as the true custodians of democratic accountability.
The activist also criticised the country’s leadership over worsening insecurity, insisting that Nigeria needs leaders who prioritise the welfare of the people.
