Residents of Lekki, Lagos State, have been left shocked following the arrest of a man over allegations of sexual misconduct involving a house help after footage from a CCTV camera reportedly captured the incident.
According to the Trending Video and information gathered By NGBREAKINGNEWS Nigeria, the suspect’s wife had been living separately after a prolonged marital dispute between the couple. Reports indicate that she moved into a rented apartment but occasionally visited the family residence when her husband was away at work.
Sources alleged that before leaving the home, the woman secretly installed CCTV cameras in parts of the residence, including the house help’s room and the couple’s bedroom. The move was reportedly motivated by concerns regarding activities taking place in the house during her absence.

It was further gathered that the wife had initially wanted the house help to relocate with her after she moved out. However, the husband allegedly opposed the decision, insisting that the domestic worker remain in the residence because he was responsible for her upkeep and employment.
Weeks after the installation of the surveillance system, the woman reportedly reviewed the footage and allegedly discovered repeated intimate encounters between her husband and the house help during nighttime hours. watch video
Rather than confronting either party directly, sources said she compiled the video evidence and presented it to members of the man’s family, accusing him of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with the domestic worker entrusted to his care.
The matter was subsequently reported to the police, with the CCTV footage allegedly submitted as part of the complaint. Law enforcement authorities are said to have launched an investigation into the allegations.
As of the time of filing this report, the man had reportedly been taken into police custody while investigations continue. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement detailing the findings of their inquiry.
