A shocking video of a Boko Haram suspect tied to a tree during interrogation has gone mega-viral on X.The man, speaking in Hausa mixed with Pidgin, repeatedly claims his terror group is working for a senior military officer in Abuja.…
He calls the man “Manga Manga” and “Baban Soja” – meaning “big soldier.” “My oga dey work for that big soldier for Abuja,” the suspect says clearly.
He adds that his boss’s family is staying with the same officer and offers to lead soldiers straight to him – but only if they untie him first. “I go show you everything,” he keeps repeating. Even when the soldiers pressure him to talk immediately, he refuses and insists he will only reveal more once he is freed from the tree.
When asked about weapons, the suspect denies owning a rifle. The clip, posted this morning by @Barristerstreet, has already crossed 98,000 views in just a few hours. Nigerians are reacting with total shock, anger and fear, with many asking if this is the reason why terrorism refuses to end.
So far, there is no official statement from the Nigerian military or police confirming the interrogation or the suspect’s serious claims.
