Businesswoman elated after selling mattresses to utumishi girls as students resume learning

Nakuru, county: Utumishi Girls Academy is reopening after a fired razed-down dormitory, and a businesswoman who was contracted to furnish the school with mattresses was excited to take them to the school.

A section of the school went up in flames after eight girls allegedly conspired to start a fire in the school, as they were not happy with some aspects of how the school was being run. After the fire, 16 lives were confirmed dead and more than 20 students were injured and are still recovering in various stages.

On July 1, a businesswoman who owns Monic’s Home Mattresses was elated after she was contrcated tosellthe school new mattresses.

“Dear Lord thank you, thank you for proving in my eyes that hard work pays,” she said.

“Comfort Delivered to Utumishi Girls School,”she added.

In the video, tens of mattresses are seen being offloaded from the lorry in readiness for the students who are going to use them in school.
