Cabin cleaner Ibrahim Bala Zakari has been widely praised after returning a purse containing $730 (USD) and several credit cards that he found while cleaning a British Airways aircraft, according to reports.
Zakari discovered the purse while cleaning British Airways Flight BA8382, recovering the purse from seat 35K. He immediately reported the find to the British Airways Cabin Services Duty Manager.
The purse was handed over to the British Airways Security team. Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) commended Zakari’s integrity, describing his actions as an outstanding display of honesty and professionalism, setting “a standard worth emulating.”
