Chaos erupted at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi when a group of goons stormed the church during a budget review meeting.

The attackers engaged in a confrontation with security guards at the entrance of the church, unleashing terror on those in attendance.

CCTV cameras captured the horrifying moments the goons entered the premises while the budget review meeting was ongoing. The footage showed the faces of some of the attackers as well as the number plates of the motorcycles they used.

Motorcycles carrying two to three men each entered the church compound at around 9.39 am, attracting the attention of police officers, who moved into action within minutes.

The officers managed the situation, and the group was,initially repelled and forced out towards Valley Road.

However, as they fled, the attackers turned on pedestrians, robbing some of them in broad daylight.

As if that was not enough, the goons returned at 10.11 am, this time without their motorcycles, and entered the church premises on foot.

Security cameras captured the men, who were in large numbers, walking towards the conference area where the meeting was underway.

Those in attendance, alarmed by the incident, began fleeing in panic, unsure of what was happening, while the speakers were left stunned.

The footage showed five men on one floor robbing participants inside the lobby. One victim attempted to fight them off but was overpowered during the struggle and had his belongings stolen.

Another participant was robbed while attempting to flee to the third floor. Moreover, a police officer tried to intervene and assist those under attack, but was only able to help one participant.

While still within the church premises, the goons chanted slogans and brought the ongoing meeting to a halt.

The disturbing incident was captured by multiple CCTV cameras, leading to the arrest of one suspect, who was taken to Kibra Police Station, while several others remain at large.
