The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, popularly known as AKOD, has congratulated Prince Adekunle Isiaka Apena, the Regent to the Throne of the Olu of Ikeja, on his 40th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Comrade Dauda described the milestone as a celebration of grace, leadership and service to the people of Ikeja.
The Chairman commended Prince Apena for his comportment, maturity and commitment to the traditional institution, noting that his role as Regent has brought stability and dignity to the stool of the Olu of Ikeja.
“On this remarkable occasion of your 40th birthday, I celebrate you, Your Royal Highness. I pray for continued wisdom, sound health, peace and divine guidance as you prepare to assume greater responsibilities in the service of our people and our revered traditional institution,” Comrade Dauda said.
He prayed that the years ahead would be filled with greater success, fulfilment, and lasting contributions to the growth and development of Ikeja Kingdom.

Prince Apena currently holds the fort as Regent to the Throne of the Olu of Ikeja, providing leadership and guidance to the community pending the installation of a substantive monarch.
