The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has welcomed Mr. Rasheed Bada as the new Council Manager, expressing his readiness to work with the new administrative head to advance the council’s development agenda.
Bada’s arrival was marked by a warm reception attended by friends, colleagues and family members, alongside the council’s executive and management staff.
He joins Ikeja Local Government from Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), where he served as Council Manager. He had previously served as Head of Department of Agriculture and Social Services at Mushin Local Government Area.
Bada’s appointment follows the redeployment of the former Council Manager, Mrs Odubeko Juliannah Taiwo, to Ejigbo LCDA as its new administrative head. She served Ikeja Local Government for more than three years, during which she contributed to the council’s administrative operations and service delivery.
Welcoming Bada, Comrade Dauda expressed confidence in building a productive working relationship with him and other council officials to move Ikeja forward.
He emphasised the importance of collaboration between the political leadership and the administrative workforce in delivering on the council’s priorities under the I.K.E.J.A Agenda.
