Popular socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred reactions online after unveiling customised luxury vehicles branded in support of President Bola Tinubu’s expected re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In videos shared on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, Cubana Chief Priest displayed a Lamborghini Urus and a Dongfeng M-Hero wrapped in campaign-themed designs. The vehicles featured images of President Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and Seyi Tinubu, alongside inscriptions such as “City Boy Movement,” “APC,” and “Asiwaju Still on Motion.”
The display is the latest in a series of public actions showing the socialite’s support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu.
Cubana Chief Priest has emerged as one of the prominent figures associated with the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu support group. Earlier this year, he was appointed Director of the movement in Imo State, a role aimed at mobilising support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 elections.
The celebrity businessman has also repeatedly declared his loyalty to Tinubu and the APC, describing his support for the President as “unshakable.” He has argued that working within the ruling party offers greater opportunities to influence governance and development, particularly in the South-East.
In recent months, Cubana Chief Priest has participated in several activities linked to the City Boy Movement, including the presentation of branded buses and mobilisation efforts by business leaders and supporters backing Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
However, the unveiling of the luxury vehicles has generated mixed reactions on social media. While supporters praised the initiative as a show of political commitment, critics questioned the optics of such displays amid Nigeria’s economic challenges.
The development comes as political alignments and early campaign activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with influential figures across entertainment, business and politics increasingly declaring their positions.
