According to him, the IPO comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of $0.000013, at an offer price of N525 per share, targeting 10 million Nigerian investors.

He noted that the refinery has introduced a technology-driven subscription process integrated with the nation’s Bank Verification Number, BVN, system, with the IPO having the potential to become the largest equity offering in Nigeria’s capital market history.

“The IPO represents one of the most significant initiatives aimed at democratising investment opportunities and expanding retail participation in Nigeria’s capital market. By leveraging existing digital financial infrastructure and BVN verification, DPRP seeks to make share ownership accessible to both first-time investors and experienced market participants nationwide.

“This offer presents Nigerians with a unique opportunity to become co-owners of a world-class refinery that is transforming Africa’s energy landscape. By simplifying the subscription process through BVN integration and digital application channels, we are opening the door for millions of citizens to participate in the growth story of this strategic national asset,” he stated.

DAILY POST reports that the IPO will see the private refinery offer 4.1 billion ordinary shares of $0.000013 each for subscription at N525.00 per share.

The signing ceremony was attended by prominent business figures, including Chairman of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu.
