Former couple Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin are currently making waves online as they reunite once again to celebrate their son’s age milestone.
Kemi Filani reported earlier in the day that the former couple’s son had turned 10. Taking the lead, Lilian shared photos of her cute son, saying it has been 10 years of double grace, double honour, and God’s faithfulness.
Ubi, on his part, rained prayers on him, stating that no matter how old his son gets, he’ll always be his little boy and will be his biggest supporter.
To celebrate their son’s new age, Lilian and Ubi threw him a big party, with Davido, Iyanya, IK Ogbonna, and others in attendance.
Last year, Lilian had left many rooting for her and Ubi as she attended his late sister’s funeral. In a viral clip, the talent manager was captured in a matching white-and-green outfit with Lilian and their son as they made a grand entrance to the burial.
Recall that Lilian and Ubi Franklin got married in 2015 and separated a year after welcoming their son. Lilian first filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court, and it was denied. Ubi filed in Abuja, and after years of back and forth in court, their marriage was officially dissolved on January 28th, 2021.
In the past few years, the former couple have been co-parenting amicably.
For their son’s 8th birthday last year, the former couple had reunited at their son’s birthday party. Ubi was seen with Lilian as they posed for the camera with their son.
The couple had later reunited in December for their son’s school’s Christmas party. In a viral clip, Ubi was captured sitting with Lilian and their son as they posed for the camera.
Reacting to their reunion, one fan noted how the talent manager still loves his ex-wife, and Ubi responded with laughing emojis.
The talent manager, had after spoken about his feelings for Lilian, admitting that he still loves her as they share a son.
