Davido Inducted into Black Music Walk of Fame Class of 2026

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido, has reached another monumental milestone in his storied career, as he is officially set to join the prestigious Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.

This induction further solidifies his status as a global icon and a primary export of African culture to the rest of the world.

The formal induction ceremony is scheduled for June 1 in the Historic Westside of Atlanta, Georgia, a city that holds significant personal meaning for the singer, who was born there.

Davido is being honoured alongside an elite group of influential figures, including American rap legend Ludacris, the renowned Bishop Paul Morton, production giants Organized Noize, the Jack the Rapper Family Affair Convention, and the late former Mayor of Atlanta, Maynard Jackson.

However, the Walk of Fame induction highlights Davido’s immense contributions to the industry, specifically citing the massive success of his latest album, 5IVE.
