Nigerian entrepreneur and self-acclaimed celebrity wife, Desola Afod, has publicly addressed online trolls who targeted her during her husband Nollywood actor Kunle Afod’s recent all-white party in Ibadan.
The controversy began after a social media user accused Afod of intentionally being in Ibadan, the same city where her estranged husband was hosting his event, in an attempt to stir attention.
The troll suggested her presence was a calculated move, implying she was trying to “pepper” or provoke reactions despite their reported separation.

In response, the entrepreneur did not hold back. Taking to her platform, she warned critics against invading her personal space and issuing unwarranted attacks.
She further hinted that she possessed evidence that could expose certain individuals if pushed too far.
“Y’all should stop coming for me on my private space. If you push me way too much, you’ll be so sorry for your fav. Proof and evidence dey. Silence is not golden,” she wrote.
In a follow-up statement, Afod noted that she is neither seeking validation nor sympathy from the public. She maintained that her real-life experiences are far more fulfilling than the narratives being projected online.
“No validation, no pity. My offline life is better than your assumptions. I don’t do eye service. I’m not one of your faves that perform for attention,” she added.
Her response has since sparked conversations online, with supporters praising her for standing her ground, while others continue to speculate about the state of her relationship with Kunle Afod.
