Easiest place to be a billionaire is Nigeria – Pastor Dolapo Lawal

Nigerian pastor Dolapo Lawal has shared his views on migration, wealth creation, and the realities of living abroad.

Speaking in a viral sermon clip, Pastor Lawal argued that many Nigerians relocating to countries like the United Kingdom are mainly seeking survival rather than true wealth.

According to him, a large number of migrants take up caregiving and other demanding jobs abroad just to make ends meet.

He also criticized the trend of people selling valuable assets in Nigeria to relocate overseas, describing it as a form of “modern slavery.”

The pastor encouraged young Nigerians to focus on building opportunities and discovering their potential at home instead of believing success only exists abroad.

According to him, many wealthy individuals he has encountered built their fortunes within Nigeria, which he described as one of the easiest places to become a billionaire for people with vision, persistence, and the right connections.

“How many people you know that are in the UK who are billionaires. They go there to survive. They don’t go there to be rich. All of them are going there to do care jobs. They’re going there to survive. Your ambition is to go and join them. It’s modern sl@v£ry. I know people that sold their properties to go and rent properties abroad. Are you thinking? What are you doing? Instead of you to see how you can get something from God. That thing called light.

You start pointing that thing on your lips and allowing God start to connect you to meet people and going the right places.

Life has a way of bending to people that have something if you keep at it..

A lot of people there are not sending money because they’re self!sh. They don’t have it.

All the billionaires I’ve met, in my life are here. This is the easiest place to be a billionaire. Be wise…” he said.
