Adeleye thanked MTN Nigeria for the life-changing opportunity and expressed his desire to become one of the brandās ambassadors.
āI have been using MTN for a long time and have always dreamed of becoming one of its ambassadors. Winning this car has strengthened that dream, and I hope MTN will one day give me the opportunity to represent the brand,ā he said.
Speaking during the event, the Senior Manager, Segment Marketing, , MTN Nigeria, Temilolu Salako, said the annual experiential programme was designed to inspire young people to give their best in every aspect of life while creating opportunities for them to learn, showcase their talents and connect with like-minded peers.
He explained that this yearās edition, themed āLive It 100,ā encourages students to pursue excellence in academics, entrepreneurship, entertainment and other areas of personal development.
According to Salako, āThe message behind this yearās theme is simple: whatever you choose to do, give it your 100 per cent. Whether it is your education, your business, your talent or your passion, we want young people to know that they can achieve their dreams by giving their very best.ā
He added that the initiative also provides platforms for student entrepreneurs to promote their businesses, access empowerment opportunities, and develop skills that support their aspirations.
Salako noted that the EKSU activation followed a successful outing at Delta State University earlier in the year and forms part of a nationwide campus tour that will visit more institutions before the end of the year.
The President of the Studentsā Union Government (SUG) of Ekiti State University, Anjola Osunyomi, commended MTN Nigeria for bringing the programme to the institution, describing the initiative as a major boost to studentsā social life, talent development and empowerment.
Osunyomi said the three-day activation went beyond entertainment, noting that it created meaningful opportunities for students through gift presentations, interactive activities and platforms that enabled young people to showcase their talents.
According to the SUG president, the initiative reflects the kind of partnership students desire from corporate organisations, adding that such engagements contribute significantly to a vibrant campus experience while inspiring students to pursue their creative potential.
He expressed delight that the MTN Live It 100 on Campus was hosted during his tenure as SUG president and called on more corporate organisations to partner with the university through similar student-focused programmes.
