EPL Table: Man City draw level with Arsenal after 1-0 win at Man Utd

Manchester City have drawn level with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, following their controversial 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Enzo Maresca arrived for his first Derby with his team’s three points behind Arsenal, who won 1-0 at Sunderland on Saturday.

And their task became harder after Phil Foden was sent off for kicking out at United captain Bruno Fernandes.

Although City played most of the game with a man down, they were able to create the better chances in the match.

One of those chance led to the goal scored by Erling Haaland.

Haaland’s finish from Antoine Semenyo’s cross was ruled out by the linesman, but after a lengthy VAR change, referee Michael Oliver was advised to award it.

This result means City and Arsenal remain perfect after four fixtures, although the champions are top with a better goal difference.
