Big Brother Naija star Chichi has reignited her long-running feud with fellow reality star Phyna, accusing her of being desperate for attention and criticising her over the ongoing ₦15 million celebrity boxing deal controversy.
Chichi, who spoke about the development in a series of remarks, questioned why Phyna had allegedly continued to mention her name years after their disagreement.
She said she had moved on from their issues since the 2023 Big Brother reunion show and claimed she had already “laid enough curses” on Phyna.
“I have moved since 2023 after big brother reunion show end and has I laid enough curses on pyhna everything currently happening to you is a result of those curses. Because of a ₦15 million boxing deal saga, you Phyna has been shouting over the money like a lunatic.”
Chichi also argued that winning Big Brother Naija should not be seen as the ultimate achievement, stressing that life after the reality show is more important.
“winning BBNaija is not the ultimate, but what matters is what happens after the show. I thanked God for her life and said that ₦15 million is not her problem.”
The reality star had earlier accused Phyna of being broke and desperate for fame while reacting to her dispute with social media influencer Ashmusy.
Chichi claimed the organisers of the celebrity boxing event had also contacted her, but she rejected the offer because she was not desperate for fame.
“Girl at this point, you need to take a chill. Have you ever sat down and ask yourself why people don’t want to associate their brand with you? I am not a brokie like you nor am I desperate for famous. I was born to be famous. Those people also reached out to me in my DM, but I rejected, because I am not desperate for fame. I grew up from the street, but I am not a mad woman. You’re a disgrace to the people from the streets. I can prove it to you that most of the streets is ashamed of you because the street doesn’t behave that way. The street is not an embarrassment to the community or a nuisance”.
Chichi also warned Phyna to stop mentioning her name, suggesting that she wanted to put their past behind her.
Her latest comments have, however, sparked reactions online, with some social media users questioning why the former housemates were still revisiting their old dispute.
