Nollywood brothers Kunle Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan have sparked reactions online after sharing a warm moment at a prayer session held in honour of late actor Taiwo Hassan Ogogo.
A video from the gathering, which surfaced online on Thursday, September 10, 2026, showed the brothers having a brief but noticeable interaction that caught the attention of those present and social media users.
Kunle was already seated when Aremu arrived at the venue. After greeting some of the women at the gathering, Aremu walked over to his elder brother, and the two were seen leaning towards each other as they exchanged words in low tones.
During their conversation, Aremu briefly checked his wristwatch. Kunle appeared to gesture towards the watch, seemingly drawing attention to the time and suggesting that his brother had arrived late.
Although the exchange lasted only a short while, it attracted attention because of the brothers’ previously reported strained relationship.
Kunle and Aremu had reportedly experienced a period of estrangement before eventually reconciling. Earlier this year, Kunle publicly celebrated Aremu on his birthday, giving an indication that the brothers had put their differences behind them.
Their recent interaction at the prayer gathering has since generated reactions from fans, with many focusing on the apparent warmth between the siblings.
