At least four countries have qualified for the quarter-final stage of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
They are Brazil, South Korea, Spain and Italy.
Brazil defeated the United States via penalty shoot-out in the Round of 16 encounter following a 1-1 draw on Wednesday to progress to the last eight.
South Korea defeated Argentina 1-0, while Spain defeated Portugal 2-0.
Italy defeated China 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
More Round of 16 fixtures will be played later today.
