An old interview clip featuring popular Nigerian broadcaster and TV host Frank Edoho revealing how he disciplines his woman, has gone viral on social media.
In the resurfaced video from an interview with comedian and host Teju Babyface, Edoho addressed longstanding rumours that he was physically abusive towards his then-wife. He firmly denied the allegations and outlined his personal approach to handling conflicts in relationships.
“The best punishment I can give a woman is malice,” Edoho stated in the clip. “I can stay in the same house with you and not talk to you. If you cross the line, my wife knows now — I am the king of malice. I will not talk to you.”

He elaborated that during such periods, he would direct his attention to his children, playing with them, buying them gifts, and whistling around the house and coming home late. Edoho described this silent treatment as “the beating that suffices physical ones,” arguing that physically assaulting a woman is foolish and unnecessary. He emphasized his support for women and rejected any notion of being a wife-beater.
The video, believed to be from several years ago, has resurfaced amid reports of the end of Edoho’s second marriage. The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host has been at the centre of fresh controversy following the end of his second marriage to Sandra Onyenucheya, which he confirmed in 2025 after nearly two years of separation.
Social media erupted with unverified allegations that singer Chike had an affair with his ex-wife, contributing to the marriage breakdown. Edoho addressed the rumours indirectly while advising men never to forgive cheating partners and declaring he would “never get committed again.”
