Fulham Football Club on Tuesday announced the departure of their head coach, Marco Silva, after five years in charge of the club’s men’s team, News.ng reports.
The club announced this on its website this evening.
Silva helped Fulham finish 11th in the league table in the 2025–26 season with 52 points, compared to the previous season when they also finished 11th but with 54 points.
According to the club, Silva became the third-longest-serving manager in the Premier League.
In an open letter to the club’s supporters, Silva thanked them for their unwavering support since he was appointed in 2021.
He said, “To our fans – I asked you, from day one, to always be with us. And that’s what you did these past five years. We achieved a lot together.
“My staff and I always felt your support. It will never be forgotten. Fulham will always be in my heart, and sooner or later I will be back at Craven Cottage.”
The club is yet to announce a replacement.
