Nigeria’s digital solutions provider, Globacom, has unveiled a new brand campaign, ‘Never Settle For Less’, alongside a suite of upgraded products and services designed to give customers more value.
The campaign was launched in Lagos this week ahead of the company’s 23rd anniversary.
According to Globacom, ‘Never Settle For Less’ is a call for Nigerians to demand the best and stay committed to their goals in an increasingly competitive world filled with opportunities.
Speaking at the event, Globacom representative, Uche Ogwuda, said digital services have become powerful tools for transforming lives.
She noted that Nigerians who understand the role of innovative telecommunications products in achieving success will appreciate the philosophy behind the campaign.
“Digital services are no longer optional. They are essential for learning, business, and personal growth. ‘Never Settle For Less’ is about empowering Nigerians with the tools to achieve more,” Ogwuda said.
To complement the campaign, Globacom unveiled four new and upgraded offerings:
Welcome Bonus: Every new Glo SIM activation gets benefits worth N2,100, including 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB of free data, and one month of free GloTV Premium subscription.
Talkmasta Reloaded ‘6 for 6’: Customers now receive six free minutes and 100MB of free data for every six minutes of calls. This represents an additional 50MB of data compared to the previous offer.
Magic Data Bundle: Described as a first-of-its-kind in Nigeria, the bundle provides guaranteed data plus automatic Magic Bonus Data on qualifying purchases. It is available at N1,600 and N3,500 price points, with customers receiving between 500MB and 12GB in Magic Bonus Data depending on the bundle. The bundles can be purchased via the Glo Café App or by dialing *312#.
Revamped Glo Café App: The self-service app now features a youthful interface, enhanced security, and additional payment options. A major addition is Gloria, Globacom’s AI-powered voice and text assistant. Gloria supports English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, and Spanish, and can answer questions and recommend suitable offers. First-time users of the revamped app will also receive 100GB free data, a 100 per cent bonus on every recharge, plus special offers including 10GB for N2,500 and an additional 10 per cent data on selected bundles.
Ogwuda said the Magic Bonus Data was designed to make subscriptions more rewarding by ensuring customers get the data they paid for, plus extra.
The highlight of the launch was personal testimonies from guests on how the ‘Never Settle For Less’ mindset shaped their careers.
Fashion entrepreneur, Mai Atafo, recounted leaving a paid job as a brand manager to start his own label.
“That decision to not settle was scary, but today it has positioned me as one of the best suit makers in Africa,” he said.
Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Dr Reuben Abati, said his drive to continually challenge himself helped him reach the peak of his career.
He commended Globacom for its commitment to innovation, describing it as “the soul of business” across technology, business development and entertainment.
Musician Chike also shared his early struggles, recalling a concert with a small audience where the presence of one media personality encouraged him to keep going.
He said his shows are now consistently well attended, calling his journey proof that refusing to settle pays off.
As Globacom marks 23 years of operations this week, the company said the new campaign and products reflect its commitment to helping Nigerians get more from their digital experience.
