Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, on Saturday, joined Inter Miami striker, Luis Suarez, in an exclusive record after his side’s Bundesliga 5-1 win against FC Koln.
The England captain scored a hat-trick as Bayern Munich claimed all three points against the visitors at the Allianz Arena.
However, according to OptaJoe, Kane has now netted 58 goals in all competitions this season, the most by a player from Europe’s big-five leagues (EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga, LaLiga and Ligue 1) since Suarez in the 2015-16 season for Barcelona (59 goals).
Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, and he has been impressive for the Bavarians so far.
The 32-year-old will hope to lead Vincent Kompany’s side to victory when they face Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final next weekend.
