“He Sided With Jude Because I Refused To Be His Friend”- Cynthia Morgan Calls Out VeryDarkMan

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has publicly criticised activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his recent position on the ongoing dispute involving P-Square members Peter and Paul Okoye and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

The controversy intensified after VDM disclosed that Peter Okoye had privately spoken to him about the family’s issues more than a year ago. According to the activist, Peter also shared information concerning alleged financial dealings involving Jude, including matters linked to Cynthia Morgan and fellow singer Phyno.

However, Cynthia has now questioned VDM’s decision to defend Jude, alleging that his stance changed after she declined his attempts to establish a personal friendship with her.

“VDM is just slow and he sided with Jude because I didn’t want to be his friend. Northside Inc doesn’t exist on paper. One minute he wants me to work with him as per his foundation, next minute he is asking me who I have dated in the industry. Another minute he is calling me at midnight when I am already sleeping.”

Cynthia claimed that VDM initially approached her about collaborating through his foundation but later began asking questions about her personal life and contacting her late at night.

She further alleged that his position changed after she refused to grant him the level of personal access she believed he wanted. Cynthia also suggested that VDM may have received payment, though she did not provide evidence to support the allegation.

“So when I didn’t give him this access, he switched side and I believe he was also paid because if he wasn’t, I would be disappointed,” she added.

Cynthia’s remarks have introduced another angle to the already heated controversy surrounding Jude Okoye and the wider P-Square family dispute.

With conflicting accounts continuing to emerge from those connected to the situation, the matter has remained a major topic of discussion among fans and social media users.
