Rapper and songwriter Phenom has revealed his preferred choice for a potential joint music project among Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeats stars, naming Wizkid as the artist he would most like to work with.
Phenom made his preference known while discussing the possibility of collaborating with Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido.
According to the rapper, Wizkid has a unique ability to elevate artists through his influence and musical presence. He noted that even a simple social media post from the Grammy-winning singer could significantly boost an emerging artiste’s career.
Phenom said:
“Wizkid will take you where the rest can’t take you. Anything musically it’s Wizkid. He will post you on his story and you will blow, I would love to do a joint project with him.”
His comments highlight the level of respect Wizkid commands within the Nigerian music industry, particularly among younger and emerging artistes.
Phenom also expressed his desire to work closely with the Starboy, suggesting that a joint project with Wizkid would be a major opportunity for him musically.
