A woman has recounted the shocking story of a new immigrant who allegedly betrayed her friend after being welcomed into her home in Canada.
According to the narrator, the woman arrived in Canada as a single mother with her child, while her friend offered to accommodate them temporarily until she settled down. However, while the friend was busy working shifts, she allegedly began an affair with her friend’s husband under the same roof.
In her words, she said:
“How can somebody house you as a new immigrant, and you start sleeping with the person’s husband? This woman landed in Canada as a single mom, she came in with her child, and her friend decided to house her.”
The narrator revealed that the wife eventually discovered the affair, chased her friend out and confronted her husband.
He apologised and was forgiven, but allegedly rented an apartment for the woman and continued the relationship. Even after the couple relocated to London, he brought the woman there and continued seeing her.
According to her, the wife eventually stopped confronting her husband and focused on her children, despite knowing that he was spending nights with her former friend. The situation reportedly took another turn when the man died overnight after spending the night at the other woman’s apartment.
“Side chick quickly raised her hands up that he has a wife oo. The wife also raised hers up that, no, they are separated. Even though it’s not official, they’re already living separate lives,” she added.
The narrator added that the alleged side chick later sought financial assistance from her church in Nigeria following the man’s death.
She concluded by warning that betrayal can sometimes come from the people one knows and trusts the most.
