The resolve of Ndigbo in Lagos State to vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 was demonstrated in grand style as Eze Ndigbo Lagos State, Eze Dr. Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, led a powerful delegation of Igbo leaders to the unveiling of the Tinubu Family Support Group office in Lagos.
The event, which attracted a mammoth crowd of party supporters, was held on Friday 11th September, 2026 at 71 Awolowo Way, Ikeja.
The office was unveiled as the official campaign office of the President Bola Tinubu 2027 Re-election Support Group powered by the Tinubu Family.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the group, Hon. Afolabi Tinubu, popularly known as Fola Tinubu (FT), declared that President Tinubu must be allowed to complete his vision of taking Nigeria to the next level.
Hon. Fola Tinubu, who is widely respected among Ndigbo leaders as the “Commissioner for Igbo Affairs” for his consistent efforts in uniting Ndigbo and presenting their demands to progressive governments in Lagos over the past three decades, said President Tinubu has spent over three years laying the bedrock of his vision across critical sectors of the economy.
He said it is in the best interest of Nigeria to allow President Tinubu return for a second term in 2027 to guide these visions to full blossom and make Nigeria the leading economy in Africa.
The unveiling was expected to be performed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Mr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, but due to other engagements, Hon. Dr. Musiliu Obanikoro, Director General of the Hamzat Campaign Organization, unveiled the office.
He was accompanied by Rt. Hon. Yemi Ikuforiji and royal fathers including the Oba of Shangisha, Oba of Ketu and Oba of Agboyi.
The highpoint was the massive presence of the Igbo community led by the highly respected Eze Ndigbo Lagos State, Eze Dr. Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu – Igbo 1.
Eze Nwachukwu, who has over the years remained a consistent and dependable supporter of President Bola Tinubu, from his days as Governor of Lagos State to his emergence as President, was applauded for his unwavering loyalty and continuous mobilisation of Ndigbo for the progressive cause.
Stakeholders described Eze Christian Nwachukwu as a bridge-builder who has continued to use his revered stool to foster unity between Ndigbo and Yoruba and ensure Igbo people in Lagos remain part of the progressive family led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He was joined by Onyendu Uche Dimgba (Okpotomba), APC Igbo leaders Chief Chris Ekwilo – Anya Ndigbo in Lagos and High Chief Anselem Njoku (Anatuanatu), and women leaders including Chief Princess Rosemary Igwe, Chief (Amb.) Mrs. Gloria Ihenacho, Amb. Mrs. Eucharia Nwagwu, Chief Mrs. Sunshine Obi and Chief Mrs. Ann Ogwueleka.
In his address, Eze Dr. Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu thanked Hon. Fola Tinubu for always being the listening ears of Ndigbo in Lagos State. He assured him that Ndigbo will vote massively for President Bola Tinubu in the South East and especially in Lagos State in 2027. Its obvious according to the Eze Ndigbo Lagos State that President Bola Tinubu is laying the economical and structural foundations that would transform Nigeria to a functional economy.
He further promised to continue the sensitization and mobilization of Ndigbo living in Lagos through other Ndieze and Igbo Community leaders in every LGA in Lagos State to vote for President Bola Tinubu in 2027 for a Nation- Wide Victory.
Observers noted that with the continued support and mobilisation drive of leaders like Eze Christian Nwachukwu, who has stood firmly with Tinubu over the years, the chances of securing massive Igbo votes in Lagos in 2027 remain very bright.
