Nigerian content creator Samuel Banks has revealed that he was unaware of Wahab Okoya’s family background when they first connected to create content together.
According to Samuel, Wahab reached out to him via text message and invited him to his house to collaborate on a content project. At the time, Samuel said he had no idea that Wahab came from a well-known family.
The content creator explained that he only began to learn about Wahab’s background after sharing their video on social media.
He recalled that several people started commenting with the word “Eleganza” under the clip, prompting him to ask his mother about the family.
“Wahab Okoya texted me that we should create content together at his house. I didn’t know he came from a well-known family. After I posted our clip, people started commenting ‘Eleganza.’ I had to ask my mum who they were,” he said.
His revelation has highlighted how an ordinary content collaboration introduced him to a family name that many Nigerians already recognise.
