Following the controversy surrounding his personal life, May Edochie reportedly filed a lawsuit seeking ₦100 million in damages against Yul Edochie and Judy Austin over alleged adultery claims.
The Edochie family also faced tragedy in March 2023 when Yul and May’s first son, Kambilichukwu, passed away at the age of 16 after reportedly suffering a seizure while playing football at school. He was later confirmed dead at Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.
May later expressed her grief publicly on Instagram, sharing an emotional post alongside a photo of her remaining three children.
