Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro, has opened up about a deeply painful chapter of her life, sharing private messages and personal experiences from her past marriage.
In a series of emotional posts, the actress revealed details of the challenges she faced during her union with her ex-husband, popularly known as the Dancing Prince of Nteje.
According to her, the marriage began to unravel shortly after it started, leaving her emotionally distressed and overwhelmed.
Okoro disclosed that just two weeks into the marriage, she began experiencing troubling situations that raised serious concerns. She noted that despite warnings from people around her, she chose to give the marriage a chance, only to encounter betrayal and heartbreak.

Screenshots of conversations she shared revealed allegations of infidelity and emotional neglect. In one of the messages, she accused her husband of bringing another woman into their home shortly after their wedding, an act she described as humiliating and deeply hurtful.
“I asked God for a family-oriented man… just two weeks after our marriage, you left a big hole in my heart. You brought a woman in my very own eyes… you abandoned me all through the night and went to sleep with her,” part of the message read.
She further expressed the emotional toll the situation took on her, questioning why she was married despite the alleged lack of commitment and respect. The actress also revealed that during this difficult period, she suffered the loss of a pregnancy, adding another layer of grief to her experience.
